Hardware Configuration: 9.7-inch screen based on Android 10, displays 15 data streams simultaneously. Powered by a 1.8GHz 4-core processor, 2GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and a 10000mAh battery (up to 12+ hours working time).
OE-Level Full Diagnostics
The XTOOL D9 EV automotive diagnostic computer is capable of in-depth OE-level diagnostics that were previously available to dealer tools only. It accesses and scans all available vehicle modules—including ABS, SRS (Airbag), TCM, PCM, BCM, IMMO, Chassis, Suspension, parking brake system, HVAC, lighting, and Radio systems—to pinpoint faults, clear codes, turn off warning lights, and reset monitors.
Read & clear codes, show DTC definitions, turn off Check Engine Light (MIL), ABS/Airbag/Transmission warning lights, and reset monitors.
Show 8 live data streams in 1 text or graph (misfire data, engine RPM, transmission oil temperature, mass airflow sensor data, fuel trim, fuel pressure, cylinder balance rates).
Retrieve freeze frame data to inspect parameters at the exact moment a DTC is recorded.
Perform active tests such as EVAP test, idle relearn, injector test, ABS motor pump cycling, and window/door/sunroof/wiper tests.
Intelligent Topology Mapping (App V4.25.4_6.36+)
• Color-coded module status for faster full-system diagnostic results.
• View the system communication structure and relationship between modules clearly.
• One-click display of the fault code to enter the system function directly.
Note: Topology Map is suitable for GM, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Honda, BMW, Benz, Hyundai, Mazda (more coming soon). It is not compatible with all makes. Please verify compatibility before purchase.
Battery Pack Diagnostic for New Energy Vehicles
Electric vehicles (EVs) require a completely different diagnostic approach compared to traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) cars. Rather than being scattered across mechanical systems, EV issues are heavily concentrated in the electronic control systems and high-voltage battery packs. Traditional diagnostic scanners lack the capability to read EV high-voltage systems, trace battery pack module details, or isolate faults in motor controls.
To bridge this gap, the XTOOL D9 EV package comes equipped with specialized adapters to support high-voltage diagnosis and intensive battery pack analysis. It displays:
Total VoltageMax Voltage & Module LocationsMin Voltage & Module LocationsVoltage Difference of Each BatteryProbe Temperature
Provides a one-stop source of battery information, including battery brand, module locations, system block diagrams, component introductions, connection ports, and socket diagrams.
43+ Service Functions & Diagnostics
Oil Reset: Reset the engine oil life system for a new countdown.
EPB Reset: Safely maintain electronic braking systems by resetting brake pads.
SAS Calibration: Calibrate the Steering Angle Sensor and erase fault memories.
BMS Reset: Register newly replaced batteries into the car's ECU.
Gearbox Match: Adjust adaptive shifting points after replacement.
ABS Bleed: Bleed the brake system air to restore firm pedal feel.
Key Programming: Program keys, disable lost keys, and perform remote learning.
Injector Coding: Code replacement injectors to ensure accurate fuel injection.
Other Special Functions: Throttle Relearn, Suspension Calibration, TPMS Reset, ABS Initialization, Seat Calibration, Zero Point Calibration, Window/Door/Sunroof matching, Headlight Adjustment, Airbag Reset (clear crash data), Idle Relearn, Power Balance, Transport Mode, Tire Upgrade, Tooth Learning, VGT Turbo Calibration, Fuel Trim Reset, Fuel Alcohol Composition Reset, Air/Fuel Reset, Start/Stop Reset, and more.
Note: Special functions vary depending on vehicle make, model, and year. Please provide your VIN for a compatibility check.
Out-of-Vehicle Detection Modules
Compressor Detection
Supports off-vehicle drive test for repaired compressor modules. Simply connect power according to the compressor nameplate, link the VCI using the jumper diagram, and initiate a one-key start to verify repair success.
OBC Detection
Drive the OBC module off-vehicle. Connect the M812 box and VCI in series, connect the OBC according to the jumper layout, plug in the AC power/load, and verify operation with one key.
DCDC Detection
Drive and test DCDC modules independently of the vehicle. Once wired to the VCI following the provided diagram, run an instant start test.
48V Motor Detection
Drive Audi's 48V motor modules off-vehicle. Simply connect the power supply, wire up to the VCI with the jumper diagram, and use the one-key start function.
